Louisville Cardinals WR Caullin Lacy Named to Biletnikoff Award Watch List

Wide receiver Caullin Lacy has been selected for The Biletnikoff Award Watch List, which annually honors the outstanding receiver in college football. This announcement was made by the Tallahassee Quarterback Club (TQC) Foundation, Inc., on Wednesday.

The Biletnikoff Award recognizes the top FBS receiver for the season, regardless of position, including wide receivers, tight ends, slot backs, and running backs. The award is based on performance during the single season and is not a career achievement.

Lacy, a transfer from South Alabama, has made a significant impact with a career total of 208 catches for 2,521 yards and 13 touchdowns over four seasons. In the 2023 season, the Mobile, Ala., native recorded 91 receptions for 1,316 yards and seven touchdowns, leading the Sun Belt Conference in receiving yards and posting eight 100-yard games.

The semifinalists, finalists, and winner of the Biletnikoff Award are chosen by the Biletnikoff Award National Selection Committee, which consists of 600 distinguished college football journalists, commentators, announcers, past award winners, and former receivers. Foundation trustees do not participate in the voting process.

The Watch List includes players from 48 different schools who collectively amassed over 45,000 total yards and 198 touchdowns in various categories, including rushing, receiving, passing, and returning kicks and punts. While most players on the list are offensive skill position players, the list also includes return specialists and some defensive backs.
